Lorie's Korean Lo Mein Recipe
As a young adult, Lorie had the opportunity to travel to Seoul, S. Korea, where she served as a Student Missionary for nearly 1 year.  Lorie (John's Wife) Korea, 1981 & FriendsThe experience enriched her life immensely to live in a Korean home and experience the culture firsthand.  While there, she was introduced to many of the Korean traditions as well as ethnic foods such as KimChi, Bulgogi, and even Seaweed (try it, you may be surprised).  Shortly After returning from Korea to the states, she and John were married,
John & Lorie 1982 and she developed her own Recipe for Korean Lo Mein (John's Prior Favorite Dish) with Lorie's new Korean Cuisine influences. (The meat is prepared similar to Korean Bulgogi beef).  It has become a favorite over the years at many family events.  One year at Thanksgiving, there was a 25 family member Thanksgiving Celebration at the Grandparents home, and by popular demand, the Turkey and Dressing menu was changed to Lorie's Korean Lo Mein with great success.
